Final reading COMMITTEE REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS 1100 COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE 1100 Minutes – April 2, 2012 Public Works and Development Services Note: Item 1101 was withdrawn from the April 2, 2012 Committee of the Whole agenda 1101 Maple Ridge Hobby Beekeeping Bylaw and Regulation Staff report dated April 2, 2012 recommending that Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 6838-2011 to permit hobby beekeeping be given first reading and be forwarded to Public Hearing and that Maple Ridge Hobby Beekeeping Regulation Bylaw No. 6839-2011 for the keeping of bees be given first, second and third readings. 1102 2011 2011-089 089-RZ, 22309, 22319 and 22331 St. Anne Avenue Staff report dated April 2, 2012 recommending that Maple Ridge Heritage Designation and Revitalization and Tax Exemption Agreement Bylaw No. 6913-2012 to permit relocation, restoration and adaptive use of an existing heritage house be given first reading and that the applicant provide further information as described on Schedule D of the Development Procedures Bylaw No. 5879-1999. The following issues were presented at an earlier Committee of the Whole meeting with the recommendations being brought to this meeting for Municipal Council consideration and final approval. The Committee of the Whole meeting is open to the public and is held in the Council Chamber at 1:00 p.m. on the Monday the week prior to this meeting. Council Meeting Agenda April 10, 2012 Council Chamber Page 4 of 7 1103 2012 2012-017 017-RZ, 11750 and 11736 Burnett Street, RS RS-1 to R R-1 Staff report dated April 2, 2012 recommending that Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 6909-2012 to allow for future subdivision into approximately five single family lots be given first reading and that the applicant provide further information as described on Schedule B of the Development Procedures Bylaw No. 5879-1999. 1104 2012 2012-030 030-RZ, 11641 227 Street, RS RS-1 to RM RM-6 Staff report dated April 2, 2012 recommending that Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 6911-2012 to allow for future development of three 14-storey apartment towers be given first reading and that that the applicant provide further information as described on Schedules A, C, D, F and G of the Development Procedures Bylaw No. 5879-1999. 1105 2011 2011-012 012-RZ, 11550 and 11544 207 Street, RS RS-1 to RM RM-1 Staff report dated April 2, 2012 recommending that Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 6803-2011 to permit the development of 10 townhouses be given second reading and be forwarded to Public Hearing. 1106 DP/DVP/119/10, 22388 124 Avenue and 12385 224 Street Staff report dated April 2, 2012 recommending that the Corporate Officer be authorized to sign and seal DVP/119/10 to vary yard setbacks, maximum permitted height, usable open spaces and building and canopy facades and that the Corporate Officer be authorized to sign and seal DP/119/10 to permit construction of 10 townhouse units. 1107 2011 2011-045 045-DVP, 12087 240 Street Staff report dated April 2, 2012 recommending that the Corporate Officer be authorized to sign and seal 2011-045-DVP to vary maximum building height and driveway location and to allow the existing above-ground Telus plant to remain on 240 Street. 1108 2011 2011-139 139-DVP, 12151 McNutt Road Staff report dated April 2,2012 recommending that 2011-139-DVP to vary the maximum permitted size of a detached garden suite be denied.
