5.1 Welcome Council Liaison
The Committee noted the return of Councillor Gordy Robson as Council Liaison.
5.2 Speaker Series
The Staff Liaison outlined the potential options for a speaker series event featuring experts or
leaders in agricultural organizations, including possible venues and topics.

The Staff Liaison described the potential options for a speaker series event featuring experts or
leaders in agricultural organizations, including possible venues and topics.

That the Committee direct the Staff Liaison to prepare a report on the status of community
gardens within the coming weeks.

6. LIAISON UPDATES
6.1 Staff Liaison
The Staff Liaison provided an update on the departure of the Agricultural Land Commission
Representative from the Committee.
6.2 Council Liaison
The Council Liaison offered support and encouragement to Committee members and
discussed his interest in the 2022 Food Garden Contest.
7. TASK FORCE UPDATES
7.1 2022 Food Garden Contest
The Staff Liaison provided an update on the 2022 Food Garden Contest, including the number
of entries and the distribution of donation letters.
8. QUESTION PERIOD FOR THE PUBLIC – NIL
9. ROUNDTABLE
Committee members discussed various topics related to their interest or involvement in
agriculture.
