The Committee has the mandate to enhance the social well-being of
present and future residents of our community by:
a) Advising Council on policy and on matters relating to social planning
and the social needs, social well-being and social development of the
community
b) Identifying and addressing social issues of concern to community
residents
c) Initiating social planning projects to enhance the community
