The Committee has the mandate to enhance the social well-being of
present and future residents of our community by advising Council on
policy and on matters relating to social planning and the social needs,
social well-being and social development of the community and by
identifying and addressing social issues of concern to community
residents and initiating social planning projects to enhance the
community.
