Audit & Finance Committee Meeting Minutes
March 18, 2013
The Minutes of the Audit and Finance Committee Meeting held in the Blaney Room of
the Municipal Hall, 11995 Haney Place, Maple Ridge, BC on Monday, March 18,
2013 at 8:00 a.m.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m.
1. Approval of agenda

MOVED by Mayor Daykin and SECONDED by Councillor Masse that the agenda
be approved as circulated.
CARRIED
Approval of minutes of February 4, 2013
MOVED by Councillor Bell and SECONDED by Mayor Daykin that the minutes of
February 4, 2013 be approved.
CARRIED
Note: Councillor Ashlie joined the meeting at 8:05 a.m.
3. Preliminary General Revenue Fund Update
• The Manager of Accounting gave a PowerPoint presentation providing an
update on the preliminary 2012 General Revenue Fund. She provided an

explanation of the financial plan as compared to financial statements,
outlined the legislative framework the public sector works under and
highlighted the 2012 general revenue results, variances and year end
provisions.
Note: Councillor Hogarth joined the meeting at 8:07 a.m.

A discussion followed the presentation about the year-end provisions,
projections and plans for future projects in terms of funding.
