6. NEW AND UNFINISHED BUSINESS
6.1. EAC Action Items and Work Distribution
6.1.1. Subcommittees – Frameworks, Membership, and Chair/Secretary Selection
The Committee discussed the proposed subcommittees and assigned members to the
subcommittees. The staff liaison reminded members that subcommittees are formed by
Council resolution and Council will consider the proposed terms of reference when they are
complete.

Environmental Communications Ross Davies, Simon Matthews, Dennis Kinsey
6.1.2. Financial Assistance/Grants and Business Planning
The staff liaison and Chair described some of the grants that are available to municipalities
for larger initiatives. The staff liaison sought interest from members with the grant writing
applications as the need arises.
6.1.3. EAC Training, Education and Event Planning
The staff liaison discussed hosting EAC training and/or events and sought interest from
members in coordinating special events.
6.2. Green Infrastructure Overview & Update
The Chair and staff liaison presented information about the Green Infrastructure work
completed to date and confirmed that the Green Infrastructure RFP is currently open for bid.
The work contained in the RFP includes identifying corporate and municipal strategies for
Council to consider to ensure a livable and sustainable city.

7.1. Staff Liaison
The staff liaison did not have any additional updates.
7.2. Council Liaison
Councillor Dueck provided an update on City operations during the COVID pandemic including
a property tax deadline extension for those experiencing financial hardship due to COVID.
