CALL TO ORDER 2. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA R/2021-CGHR-001 It was moved and seconded That the agenda for the May 17, 2021 Corporate Governance and Human Resources Committee meeting be approved as circulated. CARRIED 3. DELEGATIONS – N/A 5. NEW AND UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1 Recruitment and Selection Process Review Staff report dated December 31, 2021 J. LaCoste, Human Resources Manager, Employee Experience & Engagement provided a detailed presentation on the Recruitment and Selection Process Review project currently underway. M. Lewis spoke to the process for recruitment. S. Hartman advised that corporate communication will help with marketing and spoke to the desire to be the “employer of choice”. 6. NOTICE OF CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING R/2021-CGHR-003 It was moved and seconded That the meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to Sections 90 (1) and 90 (2) of the Community Charter as the subject matter being considered relates to the following: Section 90(1)(c) labour relations or other employee relations. Section 90(2)(b) the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations between the municipality and a provincial government, or between a provincial government and a third party; Any other matter that may be brought before the Council that meets the requirements for a meeting closed to the public pursuant to Sections 90 (1) and 90 (2) of the Community Charter or Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. 7.
