DELEGATIONS/STAFF PRESENTATIONS GamesTown 2010 -J. Lemire, J. Georgelin, P. Vandermoor -Parks and Leisure Services Mr. Lemire introduced the Health and Wellness team from the Leisure Centre. He provided an explanation of GamesTown 2010 and the contest on the GamesTown 2010 website. Ms. Georgelin provided an outline of the marketing which has been undertaken to promote GamesTown 2010 in the community. Ms. Vandermoor advised that the initiatives will be launched on May 10, 'Move for Health Day'. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of April 28, 2009. 3. FINANCIAL AND CORPORATE SERVICES (including Fire and Police) 1131 Disbursements for the month ended March 31, 2009 Staff report dated April 6, 2009 recommending that disbursements for March 2009 be approved. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of April 28, 2009. 1132 Master Agreement for the Construction of a New Animal Shelter Staff report dated April 9, 2009 recommending that the Corporate Officer be authorized to sign the "Master Agreement" with the BC SPCA for the construction of a new animal shelter. Manager of Legislative Services reviewed the report. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of April 28, 2009. The Manager of Financial Planning reviewed the report. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of April 28, 2009. 4. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND RECREATION SERVICES -Nil 1151 Funding for Arts Council Executive Director Search Staff report dated April 17, 2009 recommending that the request of the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Arts Council for one time financial assistance to conduct an executive search for a new Arts Council Executive Director be approved.
