signals at 224 Street and in Albion. He questioned the difference in pricing between
the sets of lights and asked if these types of projects go out to tender. He asked
whether the use of submerged LED lights has been investigated. He expressed
concern over the overall increase in taxes during the current economic times and the
amounts of certain items in the budget such as road use and labour.
The General Manager of Public Works and Development Services advised on the
difference in pricing between the signals, explaining that the cost of the light on 224
included street improvements. He also advised that he will contact Mr. Uglalica
regarding submerged LED lights.
