SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
May 19, 2009
The Minutes of the Municipal Council Meeting held on May 19, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in
the Council Chamber of the Municipal Hall, 11995 Haney Place, Maple Ridge, British
Columbia for the purpose of transacting regular Municipal business.

1. CALL TO ORDER -2:00 p.m.
2. DISCUSSION OF DRAFT METRO VANCOUVER REGIONAL GROWTH STRATEGY
Continuation of the discussion of the staff report dated April 30, 2009 on the
Metro Vancouver Draft Regional Growth Strategy.
Mayor Daykin advised that Mr. Johnny Carline, Chief Administrative Officer,
Metro Vancouver will be attending a future meeting of Council to address
concerns around the urban and rural land designations in the draft Regional
Growth Strategy.

The Manager of Community Planning reviewed sections of the report
individually and asked for Council direction on each section.
