PUBLIC WORKS AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES Note: The following items have been numbered to correspond with the Council Agenda: 1101 DP/036/06, 12283 224 Street Staff report dated April 19, 2007 recommending that the Corporate Officer be authorized to sign and seal DP/036/06 respecting property located at 12283 224 Street RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007. Committee of the Whole Minutes April 30, 2007 Page 2 of6 1102 DP/009/05, 22229 Brown Avenue Staff report dated April 23, 2007 recommending that the Manager of Legislative Services be authorized to sign and seal DP/009/05 respecting property located at 22229 Brown A venue. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007. 1103 AL/123/06, Non-Farm Use Within the Agricultural Land Reserve, 22351144 Avenue, Timberline Ranch Staff report dated April 24, 2007 recommending that application AL/123/06 for non-farm use within the Agricultural Land Reserve be authorized to proceed to the Agricultural Land Commission. The Planner gave a Power Point presentation providing the following information: • Application Information • Neighbourhood Context • OCP Context • Site Plan • Zoning Information • Site Characteristics The General Manager, Public Works and Development Services advised that the land use in this application was not changing, therefore a green zone amendment was not required. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007. Note: Item 1104 was dealt with prior to Item 1103 1104 Request for Municipal Sewer Service, 22351144 Avenue, Timberline Ranch Staff report dated April 19, 2007 recommending a sanitary sewer connection to the municipal sewerage system be approved under conditions detailed in the recommendations. ) Committee of the Whole Minutes April 30, 2007 Page 3 of6 Craig Douglas -Executive Director, Timberline Ranch Mr. Douglas gave a synopsis of the services provided by the Timberline Ranch and its contributions to the community. He outlined the problems with the sewage system the ranch had dealt with over the last years and why a sanitary sewer connection to the municipal sewerage system was being requested. The Municipal Engineer advised that this would be a dedicated connection which would service only this property and would be owned, operated and maintained by the ranch for sole use. The General Manager, Public Works and Development Services advised that if a property was not in the Fraser Sewerage System, a health concern had to be demonstrated to the Greater Vancouver Regional District in order to allow for sewage connection and that this request had been submitted by the Timberline Ranch. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007. 1105 Payment for 240 Street Storm Sewer Project Staff report dated April 13, 2007 recommending that payment be made to CP Rail for the installation of culverts at 240 Street and Highway 7. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007. 1106 12th Annual Haney Hawgs Show and Shine Staff report dated April 19, 2007 recommending that the use of municipal streets be authorized for the lih Annual Haney Hawgs Show and Shine on Saturday, May 26, 2007. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007. Committee of the Whole Minutes April 30, 2007 Page 4 of6 1107 10th Annual Walk a Mile for Mental Health Staff report dated April 16, 2007 recommending the use of municipal streets and sidewalks for the 10th Annual Walk a Mile for Mental Health on Friday, May 11, 2007. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007. 1108 10th Annual Vistas Run Staff report dated April 19, 2007 recommending the use of municipal streets fro the 10th Annual Vistas Run on Sunday, May 27, 2007. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007. 1109 4th Annual Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation Fund Run Staff report dated April 19, 2007 recommending the use of municipal streets for the 4th Annual Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation Fund Run on Sunday, June 3, 1007. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007. 3. FINANCIAL AND CORPORATE SERVICES (including Fire and Police) 1131 Designation of Municipal Employees Staff report dated April 13, 2007 recommending the designation of municipal employees for the purposes of the Financial Disclosure Act of the Province of British Columbia be approved. RECOMMENDATION That the staff report be forwarded to the Council Meeting of May 8, 2007.
