AT THE REQUEST OF COUNCIL 501 On On-Line Crime Mapping • Superintendent Dave Fleugel, Ridge Ridge-Meadows RCMP Detachment Superintendent Dave Fleugel announced the official launch of
the On-Line Crime Map. He introduced the Senior Manager of Police Services. The Senior Manager of Police Services advised on the process and work done on the development of the On-Line
Crime Mapping system. The GIS Coordinator provided a tour of the crime map on-line and demonstrated how to navigate the page. The Manager of Information Technology acknowledged the
assistance provided by City of Nanaimo staff in the development of the Maple Ridge product.

Community Engagement o Daniel Mikolay, Environmental Education, Wildsafe BC Coordinator for Maple Ridge A Power Point presentation provided information on Waste Reduction Week and the
Ridge Meadows Recycling Society. Ms. Hodgins gave an update on Ridge Meadows Society activities and events the society is involved in. Ms. Koehn focused on Zero Waste initiatives created
by Alouette Elementary and Fairview Elementary and outlined other initiatives including the 1st Annual School District No. 42 Energy Challenge. Mr. Mikolay highlighted other zero waste
initiatives carried out by schools in the District. He introduced a video created by Alouette Elementary students. Students from Alouette Elementary presented Zero Waste Kits to Council.
602 Food Garden Conte Contest Winners Presentation t • Stephanie James, Agricultural Advisory Committee S. Murphy, staff liaison gave a PowerPoint presentation providing information
on the Maple Ridge Food Garden Contest. She highlighted the categories for the contest. Ms. James introduced the winner in each category and provided photos of the winning gardens.

that Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 7169-2015 to rezone from RS-1 (One Family Urban Residential) to R-3 (Special Amenity Residential District) to permit future subdivision into
3 single family lots be given first reading and that the applicant provide further information as described on Schedule C of the Development Procedures Bylaw No. 5879-1999 along with

be addressed prior to consideration of Final Reading: i. Registration of a Rezoning Servicing Agreement as a Restrictive Covenant and receipt of the deposit of a security, as outlined
in the Agreement; ii. Amendment to Official Community Plan Schedule “A”, Chapter 10.3, Part VI, A – Silver Valley, Figure 2 -Land Use Plan, and Figure 3D -Horse Hamlet; iii. Road dedication
as required; iv. Consolidation of the development site; v. Registration of a Geotechnical Report as a Restrictive Covenant at the Land Title Office which addresses the suitability of
the site for the proposed development; vi. Removal of the existing buildings; vii. An Engineer’s certification that adequate water quantity for domestic and fire protection purposes
can be provided; viii. A disclosure statement must be submitted by a Professional Engineer advising whether there is any evidence of underground fuel storage tanks. If there is evidence,
a site profile pursuant to the Waste Management Act must be provided in accordance with the regulations; and ix. Pursuant to the Contaminated Site Regulations of the Environmental Management
Act, the p property owner will provide a roperty Site Profile for the subject lands. x. That the Rezoning Servicing Agreement include the construction of 128th Avenue from Fern Crescent
west to Fern Crescent east, including intersections and additional security in the amount of $370,000.00 for the construction of 128th Avenue.

for specific lots, to reduce lot width for specific lots and to reduce the road carriageway on 243 Street. R/2015-437 It was moved and seconded That the Corporate Officer be authorized
