Note:
1. All single family installations with a 2lbs. meter or less – regardless of the number of BTU’s require a
permit through the City of Maple Ridge.
2. All other installations over 409,000 BTU’s or where a single family dwelling is using a 5lbs meter require
the permit to be taken out through the BC Safety Authority (http://www.safetyauthority.ca/form/gas-
installation-form)
