I ______________________________________ the (civil/geotechnical) engineer of record verify that the
retaining walls as shown on the Approved Lot Grading Plan dated _______________________ have been
constructed and completed by the developer in general accordance with the grades shown on the approved
Lot Grading Plan. Also, I confirm the retaining walls have been built to good engineering standards under my
supervision and inspection(s). Further, these walls meet all requirements including the approved structural
& grading design drawings, the City’s Comprehensive Lot Grading Policy and the applicable City bylaws.
In addition, I am satisfied that the current lot grading and location of retaining walls will not have a negative
impact on house construction, adjoining lots and final grades.
