The City of Maple Ridge invites tenders for the 240 Street Road Improvements from 102
Avenue to 104 Avenue.The work generally consists of installing catch basins,driveway
restorations,road widening,temporary asphalt sidewalk on the west side,separated
multi-use path on the east side and pavement markings.
Tender Documents may be obtained on or after Tuesday,June 23,2015 during normal
business hours (Monday to Friday,8:00 am to 4:00 pm,except holidays)at the
Engineering Counter of the City of Maple Ridge,on payment of a non-refundable amount
of $56.00 (incl.taxes)made payable to the City of Maple Ridge.The document can also
be downloaded from BC Bid at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
Unverified bid results will be posted to the BC Bid website after closing time.
The Tender Documents may be viewed at the Plan Room of the Vancouver Regional
Construction Association, 3636 East 4 Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5M 1M3.
Tender submission requires the accompaniment of a Bid Bond in the amount of ten
percent (10%)of the total Tender Price and a Consent of Surety to provide Performance
and Labour and Material Payment Bond if the tender is successful,each in the amount of
fifty percent (50%) of the Tender Price.

The City of Maple Ridge reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders or to accept the
Tender deemed most favourable in the interests of the City.The lowest or any Tender
may not be accepted and the City will not be responsible for any cost incurred by the
Tenderer in preparing the Tender.
