The City of Maple Ridge invites tenders for structural lining/sliplining of the corrugated
steel culvert located on 272 Street 25m south of 11725 and another optional structural
lining/sliplining of the corrugated steel culvert located on Dewdney Trunk Road 60m west
of 272 Street.
The work generally consists of management of the stream flows, environmental protection
during construction, clearing and grubbing, structural lining/sliplining of the culvert,
grouting if sliplining is chosen and site restoration.
Tender Documents may be obtained on or after Thursday July 9, 2015 during normal
business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, except holidays) at the Engineering
Counter of the City of Maple Ridge, on payment of a non-refundable amount of $56.00
(incl. taxes) made payable to the City of Maple Ridge. The document can also be
downloaded from BC Bid at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca. Unverified bid results will also be
available on BC Bid after closing time.
The Tender Documents may be viewed at the Plan Room of the Vancouver Regional
Construction
Association, 3636 East 4 Avenue, Vancouver, BC
V5M 1M3.
Tender submission requires the accompaniment of a Bid Bond in the amount of ten
percent (10%) of the total Tender Price and a Consent of Surety to provide Performance
and Labour and Material Payment Bond if the tender is successful, each in the amount of
fifty percent (50%) of the Tender Price.

The City of Maple Ridge reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders or to accept
the Tender deemed most favourable in the interests of the City. The lowest or any Tender
may not be accepted and the City will not be responsible for any cost incurred by the
Tenderer in preparing the Tender.
