Request for Qualifications
Project: RFQ-EN15-33 – Request for Qualifications for Silver Valley Reservoir Design
The City of Maple is establishing a Select List of pre-qualified Engineering Consulting Firms who may
be invited to participate in subsequent Request(s) for Proposal for the design of a new 1,400 cubic
metre water reservoir and supply main. Applicants who have been pre-qualified will be invited by a
Select Invitation to compete for this contract.
The Engineering Consulting Firm will provide preliminary and detailed design services for the
construction of a 1,400 cubic metre reservoir and supply main. The scope of services will include
coordination with appropriate outside agencies and municipal staff. The Consultant is to also provide
construction tendering, administration and inspection services. The applicant must have demonstrated
experience with water reservoir projects similar in size, scope and complexity.
Engineering Consulting Firms interested in being evaluated for inclusion on the Select List are
invited to obtain a pre-qualification information package containing the pre-qualification mandatory
requirements and complete instructions for submission of a response. Information Packages may be
obtained from BC Bid at http://www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca/open.dll/welcome.

Submission of a pre-qualification application does not guarantee inclusion on a resulting
short- list of pre-qualified Applicants. The City reserves the right to limit the number of pre-
qualified Applicants invited to compete on a subsequent contract.
The City may reject late submissions.
