Consulting Services: Youth Strategy Report
INVITATION The City of Maple Ridge is seeking submissions from qualified consultants to undertake the writing of a Youth
Strategy for the community of Maple Ridge. The strategy will provide recommendations to service providers,
parents and caregivers on how to best work with and support their youth in the areas of their physical, cognitive,
emotional and social development. For youth, the Strategy will provide a context from which they can best
understand their place and value in this community.
The City is requesting proposals to be submitted on or before:
RFP Closing Date: April 29, 2016
RFP Closing Time: 2:00 pm local time
RFP Deposit Place: Proposal submissions are to be uploaded electronically to the City’s confidential file transfer service
accessed at the following link: RFP-PL16-09 Proposal Submission
1. Name your submission with YOUR “Company Name” followed by the “RFP Number” of this opportunity.
2. Upload files in .pdf format and send.
3. System will automatically acknowledge successful upload.
Submissions will be deemed successfully received when displayed as a new email in the inbox of the City email
address.
The City will not be liable for any delay for any reason including technological delays, or issues by either party’s
network or email program, and the City will not be liable for any damages associated with Submissions not
received.
Facsimile Proposals will not be considered. Proposals received after the closing date and time may or may not be
considered.
There will be no public opening for this Request for Proposal (RFP). No information will be disclosed from the time
of Bid opening to the time a contract is awarded.
Once a contract has been awarded the successful Proponent’s name will be available upon request. All Proposals
become the property of the City of Maple Ridge and are subject to the Freedom of Information and Privacy
Legislation.
Proposal documents are available for download from the BCBid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
The City of Maple Ridge reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to accept the Proposal deemed most
favorable in the interest of the City. The lowest or any Proposal may not necessarily be accepted and the City will
not be responsible for any cost incurred by the Proponent in preparing the Proposal.
The awarding of a contract may be subject to the Municipal Council approving the award of a contract to the
successful Proponent. The City reserves the right to cancel this Request for Proposal, without any obligation to any
Proponent, should Council approval not be received.
