HomeMy WebLinkAboutRequest for Proposal: RFP-OP17-57 - Fleet Insurance Brokerage ServicesCITY OF MAPLE RIDGE Request for Proposal RFP-OP17-57 Fleet Insurance Brokerage Services INVITATION The City of Maple Ridge is requesting proposals from interested and qualified insurance brokers for the provision of Fleet Insurance Brokerage Services for the City’s fleet of vehicles and equipment. The scope service includes, but is not limited to the renewal of insurance coverage for vehicles and equipment with ICBC and the provision of optional liability and comprehensive insurance coverage. The City renews its fleet insurance annually by February 28, each year, A NON-MANDATORY information session will be held on September 19 at 10:30am, at the City of Maple Ridge Operations Centre, 23925 Maple Ridge, BC. This will be the only opportunity Proponents will have to meet personally with City’s representatives and to view the site and equipment. Proposal document is available for download from the BCBid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca. The City is requesting proposals to be submitted on or before: RFP Closing Date: October 4, 2017 RFP Closing Time: 2:00 pm local time RFP Deposit Place: See RFP document for details Facsimile Proposals will not be considered. Proposals received after the closing date and time may or may not be considered. There will be no public opening for this Request for Proposal (RFP). No information will be disclosed from the time of proposal opening to the time a contract is awarded. Once a contract has been awarded the successful Proponent’s name will be available upon request. All Proposals become the property of the City of Maple Ridge and are subject to the Freedom of Information and Privacy Legislation. The City of Maple Ridge reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to accept the Proposal(s) deemed most favorable in the interest of the City. The lowest or any Proposal may not necessarily be accepted and the City will not be responsible for any cost incurred by the Proponent in preparing the Proposal. The awarding of a contract may be subject to the Municipal Council approving the award of a contract to the successful Proponent. The City reserves the right to cancel this Request for Proposal, without any obligation to any Proponent, should Council approval not be received.
