Synthetic Turf Field Supply and Installation at Merkley Park
The City of Maple Ridge (hereinafter referred to as “the City”) invites proposal submissions from interested
and experienced parties for the supply and installation of a synthetic turf field at Merkley Park located at
21970 124 Street, Maple Ridge, BC. The work consists of the supply and installation of a new infilled
synthetic turf surfacing system, including synthetic turf, infill, and underlying shock/drainage pad with a
finished surface area of approximately 7,900 square metres..
A NON-MANDATORY site meeting is scheduled for 9:00 am (local time) on June 29, 2017 at Merkley
Park located at 21970 124 Street, Maple Ridge, BC.
Proposal documents will be available for download from the BCBid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
All submissions must be accompanied by a 10% Bid Bond as well as a Consent of Surety, confirming
that the Proponent, if awarded the contract, can secure Labour, Material Bonding and Performance
bonding each in the amount of 50% of the contract price.
Facsimile Proposals will not be considered. Proposals received after the closing date and time may
or may not be considered. Proposals should not exceed 100 pages in length.
Once a contract has been awarded the successful Proponent’s name will be available upon request.
All Proposals become the property of the City of Maple Ridge and are subject to the Freedom of
Information and Privacy Legislation.
The City of Maple Ridge reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to accept the Proposal(s)
deemed most favorable in the interest of the City. The lowest or any Proposal may not necessarily be
accepted and the City will not be responsible for any cost incurred by the Proponent in preparing the
Proposal.
