HomeMy WebLinkAboutRequest for Proposal: RFP-PL17-58 - Synthetic Sports Field Design for Arthur Peake Ctr/Golden Ears Elem. and Telosky Stadium/Thomas HaneyConsulting Services: Synthetic Sports Field Design for Arthur Peake Centre / Golden Ears Elementary and Telosky Stadium/Thomas Haney Secondary School The City of Maple Ridge is inviting submissions from experienced consulting firms to provide separate proposals for the conceptual and detailed design, contract drawings, specifications, tendering support and construction management services for synthetic sports field design at Arthur Peake Centre / Golden Ears Elementary and Telosky Stadium/Thomas Haney Secondary School, Maple Ridge, BC. Proposal(s) may be submitted for one or both projects individually and also as a package for both projects together. The awarded consultant(s) from this RFP will be required to work in coordination with City staff to provide comprehensive design services including contract specifications and drawings for tender to support construction commencement Fall and Winter 2017. The design and construction of the Arthur Peake Centre / Golden Ears Elementary Synthetic project is the highest priority for delivery. A NON-MANDATORY site meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30 (local time) on July 5, 2017 at Arthur Peake Centre (23125 116th Ave Maple Ridge, BC) followed by a non-mandatory site visit at Thomas Haney Secondary School (23000 116th Ave, Maple Ridge, BC), located across the street. Attendance is NON-MANDATORY to submitting a proposal for consideration. Proposals are requested on or before: RFP Closing Date: July 20, 2017 RFP Closing Time: 2:00 pm local time RFP Deposit Place: See RFP document for full details. Proposals should not exceed 30 pages in length. There will be no public opening for this Request for Proposal. Once a contract has been awarded the successful Proponent’s name will be available upon request. All Proposals become the property of the City of Maple Ridge and are subject to the Freedom of Information and Privacy Legislation. The City of Maple Ridge reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to accept the Proposal(s) deemed most favorable in the interest of the City. The lowest or any Proposal may not necessarily be accepted and the City will not be responsible for any cost incurred by the Proponent in preparing the Proposal. The City reserves the right to award both projects to one Proponent or to award either project to separate Proponents if deemed in the best interests of the City. The City also reserves the right to award one only, both or neither project. The awarding of a contract will be subject to the Municipal Council approving the award of a contract to the successful Proponent. The City reserves the right to cancel this Request for Proposal, without any obligation to any Proponent, should Council approval not be received.
