PROJECT #RFQ-OP17-08 PREQUALIFICATION FOR BRIDGE AND MARINE
STRUCTURE INSPECTION SERVICES
The City of Maple is establishing a Select List of pre-qualified Engineering Consulting Firms
who may be invited to participate in a subsequent Request for Proposal for the provision of
bridge and marine structure inspection services.Applicants who have been pre-qualified will be
in vited by a Se lect In vita tio n to c o m pete f o r th is co ntra ct.
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ)is intended to invite structural consulting engineering
teams to submit a Statement of Qualifications for inspection and structural remediation design
services for the City of Maple Ridge’s annual structure review program,with the option of
extending the services into the future for up to five (5)one year periods.The scope of services
consists of:
Inspect City owned structures including bridges, and marine structure;
Provide condition assessment report and priority summary;
Review previous repair status and develop maintenance program for the next five (5)
years;
Suggest remediation strategies, if required; and
Develop remediation design and construction support during remediation.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME
Responses are to be submitted on or before:
RFQ Closing Date:March 28, 2017
RFQ Closing Date: 2:00 pm Local Time
RFQ Deposit Place: Submissions are to be uploaded electronically to the City’s file transfer
service accessed at the link provided in the Request for Qualification
document.
If your Submission arrives after the closing date and time noted above,the City reserves the
right entirely at its discretion to give or not give such Submission consideration.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all qualification statements or cancel this
RFQ at any time and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the respondents in the
preparation of a submission.
There will be no public opening for this Request for Qualifications.
