The City of Maple Ridge intends to retain an Architect-led consulting team for the phased
approach to include planning,design and contract administration for the development of a new
Civic and Cultural Facility located in the civic precinct on the corner of 224th Street and Haney
P l a c e , M a p l e R i d g e , B C .
To accomplish this objective,the City is seeking submissions from qualified architectural
consulting firms to perform the tasks described in this Request for Qualification.A short list of
up to six prequalified consulting firms will be established from this RFQ.Following this process,a
R equ est f or P roposal will be issued to the pr equal ified firms for further consideration.
Firms interested in this opportunity may obtain the complete RFQ document from BC Bid at
http://www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
Responses are to be submitted on or before:
RFQ Closing Date:April 4, 2017
RFQ Closing Time:2:00 pm local time
RFQ Deposit Place:Qualification Submissions are to be uploaded electronically to the
City’s file transfer service assessed at the link provided in the RFQ
Document.
The file name should be your “Company Name”followed by the “Project Number ”of this
opportunity.
1.Upload files in .pdf format and send.
2.System will automatically acknowledge successful upload.
Submissions will be deemed successfully received when displayed as a new email in the inbox of
the City email address.
The City will not be liable for any delay for any reason including technological delays,or issues by
either party’s network or email program,and the City will not be liable for any damages associated
with Submissions not received.
If your Submission arrives after the closing date and time noted above,the City reserves the right
entirely at its discretion to give or not give such Submission consideration.
There will be no public opening for this Request for Qualifications.The City will not be responsible
for any cost incurred by the Submission in preparing a response.
