REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Project Title: Request for Qualification - Architectural Consulting Services for Leisure Centre
1st Floor – Pool Change Rooms & Lobby Renovations
Project No.: RFQ-PL17-25
The City of Maple Ridge is soliciting a statement of qualifications from interested consultants and or
consulting teams to be pre-qualified for a subsequent Request for Proposal to be issued at a later
date. The scope of future consulting services will consists of, but is not limited to, collaborating with
City Staff for the planning, design and contract administration for amenity upgrades at the Leisure
Centre located at 11925 Haney Place, Maple Ridge, B.C.
Firms interested in this opportunity are invited to review and respond to this Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) package which is available for download from BC Bid: www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
Responses are to be submitted on or before:
RFQ Closing Date: April 12, 2017
RFQ Closing Time: 2:00 pm, local time
RFQ Deposit Place: Responses are requested by file electronic upload to the City’s
confidential file transfer service accessed at the link provided in the RFQ
document.
1. Please name your submission with your “Company Name” followed by the “RFQ Number” of this
opportunity.
2. Upload files in .pdf format and send.
3. System will automatically acknowledge successful upload.
Submissions will be deemed successfully received when displayed as a new email in the inbox of the
City email address.
The City will not be liable for any delay for any reason including technological delays, or issues by
either party’s network or email program, and the City will not be liable for any damages associated
with Submissions not received.
Proposals submitted by hand, facsimile or electronic mail may not be considered. Submissions
received after the closing date and time may or may not be considered.
There will be no public opening for this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The City will not be
responsible for any costs incurred by the Submission of a Response.
The City of Maple Ridge reserves the right to reject any or all responses or to accept the response
deemed most favorable in the interest of the City. The City reserves the right to cancel this Request
for Qualifications, without any obligation to any Respondent.
