Staff advised that clarification of the concerns put forward by the applicant will be provided at the October 27, 2009 Council Meeting. The Manager of Corporate and Development Engineering reviewed the report. The Chief Administrative Officer advised that the Provincial Government has the authority to delegate control of the dyking system to the District. Council referred discussion of a resolution requesting that the Provincial Government alter legislation to give the District access to properties bordering dykes to a future Council Workshop meeting.
