Schedule A, B and F of the Development Procedures Bylaw No. 5879-1999. R/2011-211 2011-034-RZ BL No. 6816-2011 It was moved and seconded First reading In respect of Section 879 of the
Local Government Act Act, requirement for consultation during the development or amendment of an Official Community Plan, Council must consider whether consultation is required with
specifically: i. The Board of the Regional District in which the area covered by the plan is located, in the case of a Municipal Official Community Plan; ii. The Board of any Regional
District that is adjacent to the area covered by the plan; iii. The Council of any municipality tha that is adjacent to the t area covered by the plan; iv. First Nations; v. School
District Boards, greater boards and improvements district boards; and vi. The Provincial and Federal Governments and their agencies. and in that regard it is recommended that no additional
consultation be required in respect of this matter beyond the early posting of the proposed Official Community Plan amendments on the District’s website, together with an invitation

that Maple Ridge Official Community Plan Amending Bylaw No. 6813-2011 to remove Neighbourhood Park designation from one area and apply that designation to another area be given first
and second readings and be forwarded to Public Hearing and that Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 6818-2011 to provide a municipal park be given first and second reading and be forwarded
to Public Hearing. R/2011-214 2011-035-CP 2011-035-RZ It was moved and seconded BL No. 6813-2011 BL No. 6818-2011 First and second 1. That Bylaw No. 6813 6813-2011 be given first and
second readings and be forwarded to Public Hearing; 2. That in accordance with Section 879 of the Local Government Act opportunity for early and ongoing consultation has been provided
by way of posting Bylaw No. 6813 6813-2011 on the municipal website, and Council considers it unnecessary to provide any further consultation opportunities, except by way of holding
a Public Hearing on the bylaw; 3. That Bylaw No. 6813 6813-2011 be considered in conjunction with the Capital Expenditure Plan and Waste Management Pla Plan; n; 4. That it be confirmed
that Bylaw No. 6813 6813-2011 is consistent with the Capital Expenditure Plan and Waste Management Plan; 5. That Bylaw No. 6818 6818-2011 be given first and second readings and be forwarded

was moved and seconded That a one year extension be granted for rezoning application RZ/071/09 and that the following conditions be addressed prior to consideration of final reading:
i. Registration of a Rezoning Servicing Agreement as a Restrictive Covenant and receipt of the deposit of security as outlined in the Agreement; ii. Amendment to Schedule “B” of the
Official Community Plan; iii. Registration of a Geotechnical Report as a Restrictive Covenant which addresses the suitability of the site for the proposed development; iv. A Statutory
right right-of of-way plan and agreement must be registered at the Land Title Office for municipal access through the subject site; v. A Statutory right right-of of-way plan and agreement

– Nil 1200 STAFF REPORTS – Nil 1300 RELEASE OF ITEMS FROM CLOSED COUNCIL – Nil 1400 MAYOR’S REPORT Mayor Daykin provided an update on the demolition of a building on a property at 11715
224 Street and on the draft Albion Flats concept plan. He attended the Maple Ridge Home Show and a carnival held by Laity View Elementary School. Mayor Daykin reported on the float
plane service to Vancouver and Victoria which will be provided at the Pitt Meadows Airport.
Council Minutes May 10, 2011 Page 15 of 16 1500 COUNCILLORS’ REPORTS Councillor Morden Councillor Morden attended the Maple Ridge Home Show and meetings of the Pitt Meadows Airport Society,
the Maple Ridge Community Heritage Committee and the Maple Ridge Downtown Business Improvement Association. He also attended the emergency preparedness workshop presented by the District.
Councillor Morden will be participating in McHappy Day. Councillor King Councillor King attended meetings of the Fraser Valley Regional Library and the Maple Ridge Social Planning Advisory
committee. She advised on a Grandmothers to Grandmothers meeting to be held at the Maple Ridge Library. Councillor Ashlie Councillor Ashlie attended meetings of the Literacy Committee,
the Agricultural Advisory Committee and the Maple Ridge Social Planning Advisory Committee. She also attended the Maple Ridge Home Show and participated as a judge for speeches by Grade
7 students. Councillor Ashlie attended a Blues Night fundraiser for the Food Bank and the first official Farmers Market. Councillor Dueck Councillor Dueck attended the 30th Annual General
Meeting of the Ridge Meadows Recycling Society, a transportation workshop and the Maple Ridge Home Show. She advised on the upcoming Real Estate Investment Network event and a presentation
to be brought forwarded by Fraser Health. Councillor Hogarth Councillor Hogarth provided additional information on the Real Estate Investment Network. He will be participating in McHappy
Day and encouraged all to contribute. He attended a Chamber of Commerce meeting. 1600 OTHER MATTERS DEEME DEEMED EXPEDIENT D – Nil 1700 NOTICES OF MOTION AND MATTERS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS

Council Minutes May 10, 2011 Page 16 of 16 1800 QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC Jacqu Jacques Blackstone es Mr. Blackstone expressed concern with the consulting group chosen to work on the
new zoning bylaw and questioned how consultants are hired. He also expressed concern that representatives of the consulting group had questioned why the subject of RV’s had not been
brought up. Mayor Daykin clarified that the new zoning bylaw is work of Council and that there will be a public process. 1900 ADJOURNMENT -8:10 p.m. _______________________________
