FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTIONS
The location of fire department connections must be pre -approved by the
Maple Ridge Fire Department
Fire Department Connections in Maple Ridge must comply with the
following specifications:
■ A 4 inch Storz connection
■ Located at the property line to the front (address side) of the property
facing the street
■ Angled down at a 35 -degree angle
■ Installed at a height of 1,000 mm (39 inches) above the landscaped
ground level
■ Hard surfaced pathway from the sidewalk to the FD connection
