meetings in early 2016.

Remedial Action for the Removal of the Large
Shipping Container located at 21504 121 Avenue,
Maple Ridge
Robin MacNair, Manager of Bylaws & Licences reviewed the reported titled “Remedial
Action for the Removal of the Large Shipping Container that is located at 21504 121
Avenue” with Council. Council passed a resolution to have the container at this property
removed.
Update on Proposed Tree Protection and
Management Bylaw No 7133-2015
Rod Stott, Environmental Planner presented an update on the proposed Tree Protection
and Management Bylaw to Council which included a review of the consultation process.
Council had a discussion regarding this item.
Council took a recess and the rest of the November 16, 2015 Council Workshop agenda
was presented at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 prior to the Public Hearing
meeting.
Recommendations Re: Council Advisory Committees
Council reviewed the recommendations on the Council Advisory Committees as presented
by Mayor Read.
Crime Free Multi-Housing Program
Council discussed amending the Business Licensing and Regulation Bylaw to increase the
business fee for buildings that are not enrolled in the Crime Free Multi -Housing (CMFH)
program and provide a 75% discount to the base business licence fee to the buildings
with CMFH designation.
2016 Council Meeting Schedule
Ceri Marlo, Manager of Legislative Services and Emergency Program reviewed the 2016
Council Meeting Schedule with Council. Council approved the 2016 Council Meeting
Schedule with the addition of one more Council Workshop and Closed meeting per month.
