This item was a continuation from the December 17, 2015 Council discussion
facilitated by Brian Johnston, Professional Environmental Recreation Consultants
(PERC).
Kelly Swift, General Manager: Community Development, Parks & Recreation Services
introduced this item and advised Council that a separate report regarding a new pool
facility will be brought back to a future Council meeting.
Paul Gill, General Manager: Corporate & Financial Services reviewed the plan for
financing the Parks infrastructure enhancements.
Council discussed the process for prioritizing the list of facilities identified as well as the
weighting criteria for the facility bundles.
Agricultural Plan Questionnaire Results
Council passed a motion that staff bring back a facilitated session on the Agricultural
Plan.

2016 Committee and Commission
Appointments
Mayor Read reviewed the proposed appointments to Committees and Commissions
with Council. Council requested an update from staff regarding the Pitt Meadows
Airport Society and a review of the appointment of the Deputy Mayor prior to June
2016. Council approved the 2016 Committee and Commission appointments.
Potential Letter of Support for Additional
Ambulance Service
Mayor Read will write a letter on behalf of Council to the MLAs indicating the City’s
support for additional ambulance service in Maple Ridge.
Recording of Audit and Finance Committee
Meetings
Council agreed that the Audit and Finance Committee meetings will be live streamed,
recorded and made available on the City’s website.
