Mr. Bill Webster (resident of 22852 127 Avenue) provided Council with reasons why this particular tree is a hazard. Council passed a resolution that the decision of the Manager of Development and Environmental Services to deny a tree cutting permit at 22852 127 Avenue be upheld. Development Procedural Bylaw No. 5879-1999 - Extension Applications Review Adrian Kopystynski, Planner II gave a PowerPoint presentation to Council that included background information, the development process, application completion time, comparisons with other cities and extension fees with regards to the Development Procedural Bylaw No. 5879-1999—Extension Applications. Council passed a resolution that directs staff to consult with the Urban Development Institute (UDI) on extending the completion period of rezoning applications from third reading of the bylaw(s) to eighteen months and that authority be given to the Director of Planning to provide an extension of a further six months. Staff are to report back to Council on the feedback received from UDI.
