Laurel Cowan, Planner, Modus Planning, Design & Engagement Inc. made a presentation to Council that included; an introduction and framework surrounding the proposed Youth Strategy, the process involved, what the community had to say, recommendations moving forward (theme areas, goals and big moves) as well as the implementation and next steps for the Youth Strategy. CITY OF MAPLE RIDGE 11995 Haney Place Maple Ridge, BC V2X 6A9 Tel: 604-463-5221 Fax: 604-467-7329 www.mapleridge.ca enquiries@mapleridge.ca Remedial Action, Demolition of Hazardous Buildings and Removal of Nuisance Vehicles, 25470 Hilland Avenue Robin MacNair, Manager of Bylaws and Licences, provided Council with information on the hazardous buildings and nuisance vehicles on the property located at 25470 Hilland Avenue in Maple Ridge. Council passed several resolutions regarding the hazardous buildings and nuisance vehicles including that the owner must, no later than thirty (30) days after receiving a copy of the resolution, demolish the dilapidated and unsafe buildings and remove the nuisance vehicles. Hoarding Program/Bylaw Robin MacNair, Manager of Bylaws and Licences, reviewed the Hoarding Program/ Bylaw report with Council. Council received this report for information.
