HomeMy WebLinkAboutWorkshop at a Glance 2016-11-28.pdfPitt Meadows Airport Society (PMAS) Constitution and Bylaws Lino Siracusa, Manager of Economic Development reviewed the Pitt Meadows Airport Society (PMAS) Constitution and Bylaws report with Council which recommended that the proposed changes made by the City of Pitt Meadows and the Pitt Meadows Society Constitution and Bylaws for Clauses 3.7 and 4.7 be approved. Council directed staff to prepare a letter from the Chief Administrative Officer to the City of Pitt Meadows’ Chief Administrative Officer outlining the concerns with the recommended changes to Clauses 6.8, 15.1 and 15.2 and that if there is no agreement on the final language for said Clauses that a facilitated session between the two Councils be arranged to reach agreement on the constitution and bylaws for the Pitt Meadows Airport Society. Ms. Hall noted that the Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 7298-2016 was established to create a maximum size and setbacks for residential development within the Agricultural Land Reserve. Council passed a resolution that Bylaw No. 7298 -2016 be given first and second readings and be forwarded to Public Hearing and that the issue of farm home plate size and setbacks on lands which are in the Agricultural zone outside of the Agricultural Land Reserve be forwarded to the Agricultural Advisory Committee for review and feedback.
