Weeds Glass & Gift Ltd.
Mayor Nicole Read reviewed the section of the Community Charter under which the
review of the business licence application for Weeds Glass and Gifts Ltd located at
11771 225 Street will take place.
Robin MacNair, Manager of Bylaw & Licensing Services introduced Michael Moll, Young
Anderson as the City of Maple Ridge’s legal counsel as well as Davison Law Group, legal
counsel for the applicant.
Mr. Moll outlined the application, provided background information and reviewed the
key points on the application with Council.
The applicant’s legal counsel provided background information on the business, the
reasons for believing a business licence should be approved and provided testaments
from customers.
Council directed questions to both parties and then passed a resolution to deny the
business licence for Weeds Glass & Gifts Ltd providing their reasons for denial.
