The General Manager Public Works and Development Services introduced the topic. He advised on the genesis of the report, the municipality’s philosophy pertaining to on-street parking over the years and the development of a new policy. The Municipal Engineer reviewed the report. The Director of Licences, Permits and Bylaws advised on methods by which complaints of people parking in residential only parking zones would be dealt with by the Bylaws Department. The Manager of Inspection Services spoke to the changes to the existing building bylaw and advised on new guidelines.
