MINUTES R/2012-540 Minutes It was moved and seconded November 19, 2012 November 26, 2012 That the minutes of the Council Workshop Meeting of November 19 and November 26, 2012 be adopted as circulated. UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS 4.1 Update on Application for Recertification of the Certificate of Recognition from the BC Municipal Safety Association and WorkSafeBC The Senior Human Resources Officer gave a PowerPoint presentation providing information on the Certificate of Recognition received by the District from the BC Municipal Safety Association and WorkSafeBC for its Occupational Health and Safety Stay at Work/Early Return to Work Program. 4.2 Traffic Calming Update The Municipal Engineer gave a PowerPoint presentation providing a history of traffic calming practices in BC and outlining the District’s draft traffic calming policy. He highlighted projects which have been part of the traffic calming process and spoke to the status of each project. 4.3 Secondary Suites Update The Planning Technician gave a PowerPoint presentation providing background information on the work being done to develop a new District policy pertaining to secondary suites. She outlined preliminary results of an online survey in terms of issues relating to secondary suites and advised on the next steps in the process. 5. CORRESPONDENCE – Nil 6.
