REPORT OF PUBLIC HEARING
May 21, 2019
The Report of the Public Hearing held in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 11995 Haney Place, Maple
Ridge, British Columbia on May 21, 2019 at 7:01 p.m.

The Corporate Officer did not provide the procedure and rules of order of the Public Hearing after
confirming there were no speakers in the audience.
The Mayor then called upon the Corporate Officer to advise of any correspondence received on the
proposed bylaw. The Corporate officer advised that 31 letters were mailed out and noted that one
email response was received, and that was forwarded to Council today at 12:30 p.m. The response
was opposed to the application.
The agenda item was introduced on-screen.

Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 7486-2018
To rezone from RS-1 (One Family Urban Residential) to R-1 (Residential District).
The current application is to create a 2 lot subdivision.
The Mayor called for speakers a first time.
The Mayor called again for second call and then for third call.
The Mayor called for third and final call for speakers.
Having given all those persons whose interests were deemed affected by the matters contained
herein a chance to be heard, the Mayor adjourned the Public Hearing at 7:03 p.m.
